Robert Lee King

An avid bowler, Robert and his late wife Darlene, participated in several bowling leagues in Collinsville and throughout the metro-east. Robert was preceded in death by his dear wife Ila “Darlene” King, whom he married March 14, 1952 in Pocahontas, Ark., and who died in 2005; his parents Thomas Franklin King and Hattie Pearl, nee Jones, King; and his siblings Elizabeth Williams, Ruby Davis, Floyd “Bud” King, Tommie Smith, and Louise Jacobs.
Surviving are his daughters Barbara (Rick) Muller of Troy, Ill., Jeanie (Jerry) Wilshire of Collinsville, Ill., grandson Aaron (Sarah) Muller of Troy; and a great-granddaughter, Samara Darlene, due to arrive any day.
