This week’s view is of a west-bound Baltimore & Ohio freight train passing the Vine Street crossing as it approaches the depot in downtown O’Fallon in the early 1960’s. The sign on the left is advertising Bill’s Radio and TV. The building next to the locomotive is Schmidt Oldsmobile which later became Regency Oldsmobile. It’s now home to Bike Surgeon.
