This week’s view is of the northeast corner of Lincoln Ave. and Route 50 in O’Fallon, ca. 1962. Spengler’s Standard Service Station is on the left. On the right is the O’Fallon Party Center which included a restaurant and a store featuring packaged liquors and dairy products. Today, that part of Route 50 is home to the BP gas station on the left and Auto Zone on the right.
