Bands and floats are the highlights of any parade. But this week’s view is the float that stole the show during the 1986 O’Fallon Homecoming parade. Hugging his teddy bear, Ed Bugger is being “pushed” in a baby carriage by his daughter Joni. The Homecoming that year featured two parades on Saturday and Sunday, August 23 and 24, both at 6 p.m. The photo was taken during the Sunday parade at the intersection of Lincoln and Third with the old Post Office, now gone, in the background.
