Aldermen receive update on City Hall security upgrades

Community Development discusses commercial project at Venita Drive, expansion of Outdoorsman

City Council Committees met Monday night and addressed topics ranging from security upgrades at City Hall, to outsourcing utility billing services, to the proposed expansion of the Outdoorsman Lounge.

Public Safety committee members received a presentation by Trivers Associates for the proposed security upgrades and renovations of City Hall Council Chambers and the first and second floor transaction counters. Council and city staff were wanting additional security to City Hall, while maintaining a welcoming environment to the community.
