Kylie Clark started off her swimming career when she was younger because her grandparents had a pool at their home. It was there where she first learned how to swim. Eventually, her parents enrolled her into swimming lessons which led to her first swim club.
Not only does Clark swim for the school, she also swims for the Seahawks team at the Metro Rec Plex during the school year, and for the O’Fallon Breakers in the summer.
This season, Kylie swam on the Varsity team and contributed more than she thought she would have.
“I never thought too much about swimming on varsity. I was more focused on working hard throughout the season and having fun with my teammates. It was great to compete at the varsity level against upperclassmen that pushed me to swim to the best of my ability in every race. I believe it will help me in the future by making sure I can push myself in anything I do,” said Clark.
