Breakers named Conference Dual Meet Champs

The O’Fallon Breakers Swim Team rounded our their 2017 season as champions, and narrowly missed taking the top honors at the Midwest Swim Conference meet that was recently held at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex.

For going undefeated in dual meets this season, the Breakers were crowned the Conference Dual Meet Champions. Head Coach Kirsty Stooke was very pleased with how the team performed and the results from their recent and final meets.

“The Breakers Swim Team just had a fantastic season. We just had a really strong team, and we do every year, really. The swimmers come out and just really get up and go. We work hard, but we have fun while we’re working hard, especially at the dual meets where the kids race. We were undefeated heading into our last dual meet against Highland, and we were able to beat them, officially by eleven points in the dual meet [on July 18],” Stooke said.
