Central school board receives update on district challenges and accomplishments

Ten teachers and one parent attended the Central School District 104 Board Meeting, Monday.  Superintendent Dawn Elser discussed a wide range of issues to include an upcoming educators’ conference in Chicago, pending compliance assessment, a presentation on school consolidation scheduled for December 11, and plans for an accomplishments showcase event night early next semester. The showcase will spotlight both school achievements, student accomplishments and offer an opportunity for parents to take the Illinois 5 Essentials Survey.
