Dolores Rose Hocher
July 14, 1933 – January 11, 2017
Dolores was a member of St. Clare Church Altar Society, Knights of Columbus Ladies’ Auxiliary. She was a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren, enjoying traveling, gardening and cooking.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; William and Elizabeth (nee Rensing) Tonnies, husband; Phillip Hocher, two brothers; Norbert and Cletus Tonnies, and one sister; Eleanor Weigman.
She is survived by two children; Phil (Debbie) Hocher of O’Fallon, IL and Deann (Morris) Barto of Johns Creek, GA, three sisters; Marilyn Mueller of Belleville, IL, Lorene (Butch) Koopman of Belleville, IL, Elvera Trame of Bartelso, IL, and a brother, Lawrence Tonnies of Trenton, IL, six grandchildren; Phillip Michael Hocher, Margie Hocher, Emma (Jason) Stehlick, Jessica (Patrick) Carroll, Robert Downing III and Austin Barto, and five great-grandchildren; Grayson Carroll, Rohan Carroll, Vivian Carroll, Ben Hocher and Abigail Talbot; and longtime friend, Carl Bann.

Visitation took place on Monday, January 16 2017 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm and from 9:00 – 9:45 am Tuesday January 17, 2017 at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 1411 Cross Street, O’Fallon, IL 62269
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church.
Burial was held at St. John’s Evangelical Cemetery, Troy, IL.
