Dolores A. Langan, nee Glauber, 92, of Lebanon, IL, formerly of Belleville, IL, born July 26, 1925, in Belleville, IL, died peacefully Monday, September 4, 2017, at The Colonnade/Heritage Senior Living Community, O’Fallon, IL.
Mrs. Langan worked as a secretary for The Shrine of Our Lady of Snows Restaurant and for the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. She was the former owner and operator of Cefco, Inc., Lebanon, IL. Dolores was a member of both St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, and St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lebanon, IL. She was a member of the Belleville Area Right to Life, and she served as treasurer for the Pregnancy Care Center in Belleville until two years ago.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, John P. Langan, whom she married on January 30, 1946, and who died on June 1, 1977; her parents, Daniel and Catherine, nee Haas, Glauber; a daughter, Elizabeth Langan; a grandson, Michael; three brothers, Melvin Glauber, Nickolas Glauber, and Charles Glauber; two sisters, Elizabeth (Joe) Stock, and Emily Voss.
Surviving are her five children, John R. (Albesa) Langan of Avon Lake, OH, Catherine (Jewett) Bennett of Lebanon, IL, Ellen (David) Sharko of Damiansville, IL, Mary (Terry) Weil of Lebanon, IL, and Angela (George) Schmid of Ballwin, MO; four grandchildren, Lisa (Matt) Ortmann of DesPeres, MO, Chris (Laura) Schmid of Arnold, MO, Travis (Jill) Weil of Brevard, NC, and Tricia (Rene) Cruz of St. Louis, MO; five great-grandchildren, Noah Cruz, Thomas Weil, Austin, Allison, and Lillian Ortmann, and Benjamin and Olivia Schmid; two sisters-in-law, Mary Glauber of Belleville, IL and Marian Schobert of Lebanon, IL; one brother-in-law, Richard P. Voss of Belleville, IL; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom loved their Aunt Lolly dearly.
The Langan family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staffs of Heartland Hospice and The Colonnades/Heritage Senior Living Community. You were ALL truly heaven-sent angels to our mommy while she was in your care and family to us.

A Mass of Catholic Burial was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lebanon, IL, with Msgr. James Margason officiating.
Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.
