Face masks will be required for passengers flying out of St. Louis

Most airlines flying out of St. Louis Lambert International Airport are requiring all passengers to wear a face mask while onboard the aircraft and in gate areas.

American, Alaska, Contour, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, and United have all adopted these restrictions per CDC recommendations.

Beginning June 1, Frontier Airlines passengers will also have their temperature checked before boarding. No passenger will be allowed to fly with a temperature of 100.4 or greater.

All Metro customers riding MetroBus, MetroLink or Metro Call-A-Ride services are now required to wear a face mask.

According to airport officials, TSA employees will be required to wear face masks too.
