Fire Department hosts Open House for Fire Prevention Week

The O’Fallon Fire Department held their annual Open House as part of Fire Prevention Week. The goal of the week is to reduce the occurrence of home fires and home fire injuries through prevention and protection education. Fire Prevention Week ran from October 7 through October 13, 2018, while the Open House was held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings at the newest fire house located on Taylor Road.

Equipment was on full display and a variety of activities were available for young and old to take part in. The O’Fallon Police Department and EMS also participated in the event.
