FOIA shows JAMS teacher submitted resignation

Heuring to receive pay and benefits through May 22

O’FALLON – Documents obtained from Central District 104 by the O’Fallon Weekly through the Illinois Freedom of Information Act show that a teacher who recently separated from the district amidst a scandal for calling two students “slaves” submitted her resignation on April 6, four days before the board approved her separation agreement. However, despite being on administrative leave, she will receive full pay and benefits until the effective date of her resignation, May 22, 2017.
