• Better chances of being healthy adults without chronic disease

Now, the MetroRecPlex is offering an all-new way for kids to get in their cardio and have a blast while they’re doing it! Introducing GENERATION POUND® at the MetroRecPlex. It’s been a long time coming, and we’re finally ready to unveil our newest program! We hope that you’re as excited as we are to make a positive impact on our youth. Generation POUND® was created not just as a workout geared towards kids, but a MOVEMENT that aims to change the concept of health and fitness for today’s youth. Get ready to make fitness about self-expression, empowerment, self-love and FUN! How? By introducing alternative ways to MOVE, ROCK, PLAY and MAKE NOISE!

GENERATION POUND® is a youth-oriented program that fuses movement and music to improve focus, coordination, physical fitness and teamwork skills. By combining exercise and interactive Activities, kids will learn new ways to explore movement, embrace their creativity and ROCK OUT—ultimately building strength, confidence and self-awareness.

So, bring your kids ages 6-12 to the MetroRecPlex on Tuesdays this fall from 5:45-6:15, introduce them to Laura Miller, the awesome instructor, and have some fun! GENERATION POUND® is FREE with a membership or a day pass!
