Inaugural Walk Like MADD event takes place at Rock Springs Park

MADD Walk 2016Mothers Against Drunk Driving held the inaugural Walk Like MADD event last Saturday at Rock Springs Park. The walk is designed to remember loved ones taken too early and to raise awareness to the continuing problems caused by drunk drivers. O’Fallon Police Captain Jim Cavins and St. Clair County State’s Attorney Brendan Kelly were on hand and spoke about what their respective organizations are doing to combat drinking and driving. While this was the first year, event organizers are already looking ahead to next year. (O’Fallon Weekly Photo by Nick Miller)
