JoAnn E. Page
February 20, 1938 – February 28, 2017 

Wilma Kay Santiago, nee Bladon, age 78, of O’Fallon, born November 12, 1938 in Clearfield, Iowa, died Friday afternoon, March 3, 2017 at St. Paul’s Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Kay was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1957-1960 as a data processor. She was a devoted wife, supporting her husband throughout his Navy and Air Force careers. She had previously attended Catholic services at the Scott AFB Chapel. Kay was an excellent seamstress, a fantastic cook, and enjoyed gardening in her spare time.

Surviving are her children Frank (Melissa) Santiago, Jr. of Ward, Ark., Linda Kay Santiago, of St. Jacob, Ill., Maria Santiago of Henderson, Nev., Richard A. Santiago of O’Fallon, and Reina Santiago, of Santa Fe, New Mex.; grandchildren Jared, James, and John Santiago, Christian Santiago, and Max, Adam and Julia Goldberg, and two sisters Joyce Urie and Lynne Croppo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Santiago, whom she married December 24, 1959, and who died September 8, 2013; and her parents Ralph and Alice, nee Parks, Bladon.
Memorial donations, both as monetary contributions and food items, are suggested to O’Fallon Community Food Pantry, and will be accepted at the funeral home.

The family received friends from 9:00 am – Noon, Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O’Fallon, Illinois.

The United States Air Force presented honors at 11:00 am, Saturday, at the funeral home.
