Megan E. Dice and William Zachary Goebel were married June 4th, 2016, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fairview Heights, Illinois, with Father Nathan Goebel, brother of the groom officiating.
The bride is the daughter of James and Kathleen Dice of O’Fallon, IL. She is a 2010 graduate of O’Fallon Township High School and a Dec 2014 graduate of Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo, with Bachelor degree’s in English and Theater. Megan is working on Master’s Degrees in English and Secondary Education in English and will do her student teaching this fall at Lee Summit North High School, in Lee Summit Mo.
The groom is the son of David and Veronica Goebel of Mount Zion, IL. He is a 2014 graduate of Truman State University, with a bachelor degree in Computer Science. He is employed by Cerner in Lee Summit, MO.
The maid of honor was Laura Kuzara, a friend from college. Bridesmaids were Deborah Stevens, Cassy Gheridini, a friend from OTHS, and Becky Polacek. The flower girls were Emma & Kennedy Harcharik, nieces of the groom. Sophie Goebel, niece of the groom was the ring Bearer. The best man was Spencer Shore and groomsmen, Joe Cleary, Dean Branaman, and Mark Smith. Kevin and Brian Dice, brothers of the bride and Dalton Goebel, brother of the groom served as ushers. Ashley Harcharik, sister of the groom, and Mark Goebel, brother of the groom served as readers. Musicians were Kevin Dice, brother of the bride, on Piano, Robert Wojcik, organist and Lauren Lundy as vocalist.
The reception followed the ceremony at the church with a family and friends dinner later that evening.
After a honeymoon cruise to Alaska, the couple is at home in Overland park, Kansas.
