Korean Sword Martial Arts celebrates first year of business with ribbon slicing


O’FALLON – The O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a ribbon slicing ceremony for Korean Sword Martial Arts, 1931 West Hwy 50, Fairview Heights.  The ceremony took place at 11:30 a.m. on August 4, 2016.

“We are happy to help Master Nam Lim celebrate 1 year in business!  Nam is an active member of our Chamber and we are happy to have him in O’Fallon-Shiloh.  Nam had a little fun with “cutting” the ribbon; he used his sword to slice it!” said Chamber Executive Director Debbie Arell-Martinez.

Korean Sword Martial Arts (KSMA) is one of the largest Martial Arts facilities in the US with approximately 4500sq.ft including the training space, and the lobby along with the waiting area. We provide clean, well-organized and pleasant environment for students to train themselves.

HaeDong GumDo, Korean Sword Martial Art, has been practiced in South Korea for many years and it is one of the most well known Martial Arts. KSMA is part of the World Haidong Gumdo and the International Chung Mu Haedong Gumdo Federation and has a strong relationship with its affiliate gym in South Korea.

We will have many different opportunities to participate in competitions and tournaments in the States and in overseas. In addition, we are teaching Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Self-Defense skills, Ground Fighting Techniques, and Break falls and rolling techniques throughout the regular class sessions. KSMA helps students to improve concentration, respecting others, learn self-discipline, and more.
