After an incredibly successful 2016 season for the O’Fallon Township High School Girls Golf program, Head Coach Chris Eddy has to like what he sees from his team heading into 2017.

The core of his at times dominant group have all returned this season, and the extra year of experience looks to have already paid off for the Panthers.

O’Fallon opened their 2017 season in Highland at the Highland Scramble, winning the tournament on Friday behind the strong showings of two of those girls.

Seniors Brooke Boatman and Natalie Meinkoth both shot a strong 6-under par for the day, pacing a strong Panther attack to the season-opening win. Both Meinkoth and Boatman were big contributors to last season’s team as juniors.
