More road construction projects starting soon in O’Fallon

Resurfacing work will begin on July 10 along West Highway 50, between Hartman Lane and Old Collinsville Road. It is anticipated that work will be completed in six to eight weeks, weather permitting. O’FALLON – More road construction is scheduled to begin in O’Fallon soon, causing drivers to try and find alternate routes or plan for possible delays.

Construction on Regency Park, between Highway 50 and the entrance to Home-Town Suites O’Fallon, began on Tuesday, June 27. During Construction, Regency Park will be closed to traffic between the Shell Gas Station and Shantz Drive. It is anticipated that work will be completed no later than September 1 weather permitting.

A detour route will be on Green Mount Road during the road closure. Access to all properties will be maintained during construction.

The work of curb and gutter replacement, pavement reconstruction and patching will be completed by Baxmeyer Construction.
