The program begins on September 6. Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6 – 9 p.m. at the Public Safety Facility, located at 285 N. Seven Hills Road, and will run through October 25, 2016.
The Academy is designed to give participants a realistic view of the day to day operations of public safety work by providing instruction and education on numerous topics.
The Academy is open to all O’Fallon citizens at least 21 years of age. Due to the nature of the course and curriculum, individuals with prior felony and/or certain misdemeanor charges or convictions will be declined.
If you would like to participate in the Citizens Police Academy, applications can be picked up at the Public Safety Facility or printed from our website at www.ofallon.org/citizens-police-academy and are due no later than August 1 .
The program is open to the first 20 qualified applicants; so do not hesitate to send in your application as the spots fill up quickly.
