While this past week wasn’t very busy from a Southwestern Conference perspective for the O’Fallon Township High School Lady Panther Tennis team, the Blue and Gold still managed to capitalize on their chance to add to their early season success.

O’Fallon managed to add a pair of non-conference tallies to their season total with home wins over Mascoutah and Centralia.

On Wednesday against the Indians, Miley Brunner knocked off Anna Rosenstengel in straight sets 6-0, 6-1, while doubles partner Kate Macaluso managed to top Colleen Spehar 6-2, 6-1. Emiley Fritz took down Paige Engelage in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.

Abbey Byrnside won perhaps the afternoon’s most compelling affair, defeating Ella Mostoller 6-4, 7-5 while Zoie Howard managed a more stress-free 6-1, 6-1 win over Anna Marison. Ali Mueller would beat Abby Spitler in perfect straight sets 6-0, 6-0 to wrap up a perfect Singles slate for the Lady Panthers.
