The O’Fallon boys golf team continued their strong season this week with some season and career best rounds. The Panthers had two nine hole matches on their home course, Tamarack.
The Panthers faced Belleville West on Wednesday and finished several strokes ahead with a team score 147. Ethan Ourada shot his season and career best score of one under, 35. Logan Lowery also finished with a 35. The team score included rounds of 38 from Taylor Patterson and 39 from Kyle Dismukes.
On Thursday’s match versus Belleville East, Collinsville, Highland and Triad, the team shot one of the best rounds of this and many seasons. The Panthers finished with team score of 145, just one over par for the four man total and beating the second place Belleville East Lancers by 21 strokes.
The team was led by Logan Lowery’s season and career best score of three under, 33. The team’s other top scores included Taylor Patterson 36, Ethan Ourada 37, and Kyle Dismukes and Caden Cannon both with a 39.
The other players which were not used but shot well were Blake Holliday (42) Josh Krneta (44) and Evan Mayfield (43).
The Panthers were scheduled to play in the Carbondale Terrier two man challenge on Friday which was canceled due to weather. The O’Fallon boys and girls play on Tuesday, September 11 in the Metro East Co-Ed challenge at Tamarack.
