Last week, past and present members of the OTHS Panther Baseball program coached 60 fourth through ninth graders on the fundamentals of pitching and batting.

Brad Harrison and Dillon Weiss have helped run the camp for the past four years. Weiss and Harrison both agreed that the most important part of this camp is just making sure the kids have fun. In addition to the fun and games, Weiss says that the most important thing to him is “just being able to make an impact on these kids; knowing that what I tell these kids, they’re going to take home.”

Marveling over getting the opportunity to work with these kids, Harrison said, “You see them here, now and in six or seven years they’ll be where we are, playing high school ball.”
