Police investigate O’Fallon bank robbery

O’FALLON – Police are investigating a daring daylight robbery at the First National Bank of Waterloo inside of Schnucks on Highway 50.

On Thursday, September 6, 2018 at approximately 1:27 pm, the O’Fallon Police Department responded to an armed robbery at the 1st National Bank located within Schnuck’s at 907 East Highway 50, O’Fallon, Illinois.  The suspect is described as follows:

Black/male, 5’10 wearing a short sleeve black polo style shirt, light colored pants, dark sunglasses, and a black and white St. Louis Cardinal’s ball cap with a white striped flat bill. This suspect remains at large.

A weapon was inferred and the suspect was last seen fleeing on foot in a northwesterly direction from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The O’Fallon Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance with investigating this crime.  If anyone was in the area at the time and believe they might have information, please call the O’Fallon Police Department at 618-624-4545.

As a reminder, the suspect remains at large and should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS.  Anyone sees the suspect, do not take action yourself, but call 9-1-1 immediately.
