Seahawks Swim returns, joins ranks as USA Swimming Team

O’FALLON – The Seahawks Swim Team have now officially become a USA Swimming team, allowing the group to compete in a wider variety of meets around the region and broadening the opportunities for its swimmers throughout their careers.

The Seahawks swim their home meets and practices at the new Metro Rec Plex and offer a variety of programs, such as team swims and elite swims for Olympic hopefuls. The group also offers training for triathlon competitors in addition to the more swim-centric activities.

Head Coach Kirsty Stooke also coaches the O’Fallon Breakers, who practice at the O’Fallon Community Pool. This is the first season in return for the Seahawks, who will be the first competitive swim group to call the Metro Rec Plex their home.
