Soccer team collects pair of wins

The O’Fallon Panthers boys soccer team continue to roll through the season, racking up wins, and last week was no exception.

On Tuesday, September 11, the blue and gold took on the Granite City Warriors at home. The Panthers would take the victory, winning 2-0. Senior Jordan Ellis and junior Sean Rhodehamel would both score a goal each, while junior Brendan Hill and senior Caden Brown would both get the assists.

Later in the week on Thursday, September 13, the Panthers travelled to Belleville East to take on the Lancers. OTHS would once again take the win, defeating East 1-0. The Panthers defeated East 6-5 on penalty kicks to take the win.

With the pair of wins the varsity Panthers moved to 7-3 for the season. 

The Panthers would next take on the Belleville West Maroons in a matchup on Tuesday evening after this edition went to press. From there the Boys take on the Edwardsville Tigers at OTHS on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
