St. Clair County Health Department has been notified of a second COVID-19 related death in St. Clair County, a female in her 30s. No additional patient information will be released due to privacy laws.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the latest victim of COVID-19. This is another tragic loss to our community and again, a reminder that no one is immune to COVID-19. Everyone must continue to protect themselves, their family, friends, and colleagues by following the preventative measures and social distancing guidelines,” said Mark Kern, St. Clair County Board Chairman.
St. Clair County Health Department continues to investigate all possible exposures to COVID-19 in accordance with IDPH and CDC guidelines. To date, there have been a total of 24 positive cases in St. Clair County. Information is evolving on a daily basis and can be found on our website www.health.co.st-Clair.il.us/pages/default.aspx.
