Take a trip to Africa without leaving O’Fallon

Linda Ogbah Faas, Owner of Ogbah’s African Market, has quite the unique story.

Although she was born in the United States, Linda was raised in Nigeria. She first came to O’Fallon in 2005 to escape the devastation that was caused by Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana. At the time, she was working for Harrah’s and was given a choice of several cities to which she could relocate, and the St. Louis branch seemed like a great choice. Linda settled into O’Fallon and enjoyed her job, but couldn’t help but wonder if there was something more for her, so she joined the United States Navy.
