The Creative Gardener – Dealing with poisonous weeds

In most of my columns I give advice on plants that will work well in your garden or plants that attract or repel certain bugs or insects. In this week’s column I will be discussing plants (some including myself would call these weeds) to avoid. These nasty weeds include poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac. These poisonous plants are the most common cause of allergic reactions in our area. I will be discussing with you how to identify, prevent and treat these forms of poisonous plants.
