O’FALLON – A new restaurant has garnered some positive attention from the public.
The Depot Bar & Grill, which opened it’s doors to the public on March 17 has seen success in it’s short time. The restaurant currently boasts an impressive 4.9 out of 5 stars on facebook, according to 28 customer reviews.
The name, location, and the overall theme of the restaurant pays homage to O’Fallon’s rich ties to the railroad industry.
Randy Stevenson, the owner of The Depot, was excited to talk about his restaurant’s brief history, as well as some of the food that’s available.
“I’ve always wanted to be in the restaurant business since I was a kid,” Stevenson said. “I started at the Caddy Shack (In Belleville) when I was 14 years old. My family were owners in it. I worked there until I was about 22 or 23.”
