The grand opening ceremony will include many aspects of a traditional high school pep rally, complete with the O’Fallon Township High School marching band, cheer squad, and the football team assisting with the ribbon cutting. Panther blue-and-gold donuts have been specially designed to commemorate the new restaurant and custom camo-themed coffee mugs will honor nearby Scott Air Force Base military personnel and families. Winners of a social media contest will have their chance in a “dough machine,” where they can win cash prizes, Tim Hortons gift cards and much more.
The store opens at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10, with opening festivities running from 9-11 a.m. The ribbon cutting with elected officials, chamber members, and Tim Horton executives will take place at 10 a.m.
Tim Hortons is located at 450 Regency Park Drive, just off of I-64 and north Green Mount Road, in front of the Regency Center.
