Over the past two weeks I’ve been asked a lot about the future of the paper. Folks have questions about the changes we’ve announced and I’d like to clarify some points.
The free period for the O’Fallon Weekly is coming to an end. Starting with our first edition in March, copies will be one dollar. We are still finalizing locations the paper will be available for purchase and will be announcing them soon.
Which leads me to my second point, the best way to ensure you will always be able to get your copy of the Weekly is to subscribe for at-home delivery. Each Wednesday the Weekly will arrive in your mail. The subscription cost is only $36 and if you subscribe before the end of the month, a portion of your subscription fee will be donated to the OTHS Marching Band to help them pay for their trip to the 2016 Orange Bowl. See page 10 for more information on that.
For folks interested in receiving the Weekly digitally, a $36 subscription includes both the print and digital versions, as long as you provide your email address when you subscribe.
We know many of you would like to continue to pick up the Weekly at no charge, but unfortunately all good things must come to an end. We here at the Weekly are proud of our effort and believe the work we do has value, and we’re hoping you will agree with us.
