Upcoming events at the O’Fallon Public Library

If you have some time off over the Holidays stop by and visit the Library! Our Zumba® Toning class will be held on December 26th at 6:00 pm.  This targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba® moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness party. This class provides participants with a cardio workout and strength training. Participants are encouraged to bring 1-3-pound weights, but the class can be done without using weights.  It starts at 6:00 pm in the Library’s meeting room.

Out of school with nothing to do?  Come to the library and play table top games on December 27th from 1-3:00 pm.  and enjoy Board Games for Kids.  New and traditional games for your enjoyment will be available along with pizza!

A Kid’s afternoon matinee will be held on December 28th and January 3rd.   Beginning at 1:00 pm watch Smallfoot on the 28th and Christopher Robin on the 3rd.  Both are rated PG and recommended for children ages 6 and up.  Snacks will be provided.

Get ready to shape up your eating plan after the Holidays.   Learn about the Ketogenic Way of Eating with a two-hour workshop on January 12th.  Held from 9:30- 11:30 am this Ketogenic Jump Start course will teach you all you need to know to see if this plan is right for you!  When done properly, is a clean, sustainable approach to eating that leverages healthy fat, moderate protein and the right amount of carbohydrates for improved wellness. The Library will be closed for Christmas, December 24th and 25th.  We will close at 3:30 pm on December 31st and will be closed for the New Year on Jan. 1st.
